  • HealthierFeds Physical Activity Challenge: Results from the Twelve Month Follow-up Survey PDF file [521 KB]

Participants in the 2007 HealthierFeds Challenge were offered the opportunity to participate in follow up surveys about their attitudes as behavior changes related to their participation. The follow on surveys were sent to those who agreed to participate at 6 and 12 month intervals following The Challenge.

The "HealthierFeds Physical Activity Challenge: Results from the Twelve Month Follow-up Survey" contains an analysis of the responses of those who participated in the survey.

The results shared in this report indicate that in addition to helping employees’ fit physical activity into their lives, worksite programs such as "The HealthierFeds Physical Activity Challenge" help emphasize the importance of health in the workplace culture, provide a supportive atmosphere among coworkers and workplace friends engaged in similar activities and deliver programs that promote positive change to large groups of people in a streamlined way.
