The Golden Goose Award is a new award that recognizes scientists and engineers whose federally funded research has had significant human and economic benefits.

1st Annual Ceremony

The first annual ceremony for the Golden Goose Awards will take place on September 13, 2012 on Capitol Hill. Individual or teams of scientists will be awarded the GGA in front of their peers in the scientific community, Members of Congress and their staff, and members of the scientific advocacy and policy community in Washington DC.

Selection Committee

Nominees for the Golden Goose Award are carefully reviewed by a select group of distinguished scientists and university leaders. They receive nominations from both scientific and university-related organizations.
