CDC’s Division of Diabetes Translation (DDT) announces:

Natural Experiments and Effectiveness Studies to Identify the Best Policy and System Level Practices to Prevent Diabetes and its Complications—NEXT-D
 

This 5-year program is expected to identify population-level policies for diabetes prevention and control.

The program will achieve this goal by testing the impact of health system-, community-, and legislative- policies on the risk of diabetes and its complications using rigorously-designed, controlled, longitudinal studies.
