STAMPEED: SNP Typing for Association with Multiple Phenotypes from Existing Epidemiologic Data

Program Description

This program was funded from 2006-2009 to identify genetic variants related to heart, lung, and blood disorders and their risk factors by utilizing genome-wide association studies in existing human studies. Multiple GWAS grants were awarded for the study of a wide variety of cardiovascular, lung and blood disorders. Data are available via an application and review process through dbGaP.

The NHLBI Program Officer for STAMPEED is Cashell Jaquish, Ph.D.
