OPM is pleased to inform you that on July 19, the long awaited delivery of the XML version of the credit reports will be deployed. Currently, in the eDelivery process the DIF (Distributed Investigative File) contains Text Credit Reports as part of the closed investigative case. Effective the 19th, not only will we continue to deliver the Text Credit Reports, but FIS will be enhancing its eDelivery process by including the Credit Reports in XML. The XML Credit Report will contain all the data elements matching the text version of the credit report whether it is a Full Credit Report, a Summary Credit Report or a Summary Credit Report with Issues. In all instances, agencies receiving closed cases via eDelivery will begin receiving both versions of the credit reports.
