Whistleblowing & Transparency

Mission Statement

• Provides advice and counsel to the Inspector General and his senior leadership on all aspects of whistleblowing and transparency (including the routing and disposition of disclosures and the protection of the sources alleging wrongdoing).

• Provides oversight capabilities to the Inspector General and the Assistant Inspector General for Communications & Congressional Liaison.

• Serves as liaison to Executive branch agencies and Legislative stakeholders in the federal whistleblowing process.

• Other duties, as assigned.
