There are many ways to partner or do business with the Department of Justice. This section is intended to serve as a guide to the various components and offices tasked with overseeing these opportunities.
Business Opportunities

Management and oversight of acquisition in the Department of Justice is the responsibility of the Chief Acquisition Officer. The Chief Acquisition Management Officer’s site provides information to help the contractor navigate the contracting process.

Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization

The Department is committed to encouraging and assisting small businesses seeking contracts. Our mission is to ensure that small businesses, including small disadvantaged businesses, woman owned small businesses, service disabled veteran owned small businesses and HUBZone certified businesses have the maximum practicable opportunity to participate in our work as prime contractors and subcontractors.

Grants

The Department offers funding opportunities to conduct research, to support law enforcement activities in state and local jurisdictions, to provide training and technical assistance, and to implement programs that improve the criminal justice system.
