The Office of Financial Management(OFM) provides central accounting and reporting for all financial transactions that originate from the 27 Institutes and Centers (ICs). OFM also provides overall direction and leadership to the ICs by establishing financial management policies and procedures and by providing oversight of the NIH Core Financial Management Systems.

OFM is the focal point for audits, travel policy, central services funds management, and the general ledger.
