About the PSA Campaign
The U.S. Department of the Treasury, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Ad Council have partnered on the creation of a public service advertising campaign (PSA) targeting homeowners who are struggling to keep their homes. The PSAs communicate to these homeowners that there is free help through the Making Home Affordable Program. The PSAs encourage those who are struggling with their mortgage payments to take action and reach out as soon as possible by calling 888-995-HOPE (4673). As with all campaigns, all the ad space is donated.

About the Ad Council
The Ad Council (www.adcouncil.org) is a private, non-profit organization that marshals talent from the advertising and communications industries, the facilities of the media and the resources of the business and non-profit communities to produce, distribute and promote public service campaigns on behalf of non-profit organizations and government agencies.  The Ad Council addresses issue areas such as improving the quality of life for children, preventive health, education, community well-being, environmental preservation and strengthening families.
