Office of Head Start Tribal Consultation Session

The Office of Head Start Tribal Consultation Sessions are held with Tribal Leaders in each geographic region where Tribal Head Start Grantee Programs are located. The purpose is related to meeting the needs of AI/AN children and families, taking into consideration funding allocations, distribution formulas and other issues affecting the delivery of Head Start services. In addition, OHS will share actions taken and achievements in addressing issues and concerns raised during the FY 2011 Tribal consulation sessions.
