Premieres March 7—The National Recovery Month campaign offers help and hope not only for individuals receiving recovery services and those in recovery but also for families, loved ones, and friends. The benefits of treatment and recovery-oriented services and supports ripple out across entire communities throughout our Nation, proving there are effective treatments and that people do recover. As the Road to Recovery series kicks off its 12th season, this episode will highlight the many accomplishments of the 2011 Recovery Month campaign and look forward to a successful September 2012 Recovery Month.

Last Few Weeks To Enter Your 2011 Recovery Month Event in the 2011 Community Event Award Program


Share the extraordinary work you performed on behalf of people in recovery and those who serve them, and submit your Community Event Award application for your 2011 event to the Recovery Month Event Award Program. Award applications are due March 30, 2012.

Brand New—Spanish Inspirational Quote Widget and e-Cards!


Recovery Month has new tools for recovery in Spanish. Use the Inspirational Quote widget and e-cards to help empower friends and family in recovery. The Recovery Month Spanish Inspirational Quote widget allows native Spanish speakers to view a new inspirational quote each day and share it with others.

There are now Spanish Recovery Month e-Cards to send to family and friends to show support and appreciation of their recovery. Users can choose different messages to honor a recovery anniversary, offer congratulations on a person's recovery success, show gratitude for support, or offer support for someone seeking recovery.

¡Nuevo! ¡Widget de citas de inspiración y tarjetas electrónicas en español!


El sitio Mes de la Recuperación ofrece herramientas nuevas en español para fomentar o celebrar la recuperación. Use el widget (componente gráfico) de citas de inspiración y tarjetas electrónicas para apoyar a sus amigos y familiares en sus esfuerzos por recuperarse. El widget de citas de inspiración del Mes de la Recuperación permite que los hispanohablantes puedan ver una cita nueva cada día y que la puedan compartir con otras personas.

Ahora hay tarjetas electrónicas en español del Mes de la Recuperación para enviarlas a sus familiares y amigos y, de esta forma, mostrarles su apoyo y aprecio por sus esfuerzos por lograr recuperarse.
