Traumatic Brain Injury in Prisons

In partnership with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), CDC conducted the Statewide Investigations of Traumatic Brain Injury in Prisons (SITBIP) Study. This study focuses on traumatic brain injury (TBI) among the prison population.

 

Statewide Investigations of Traumatic Brain Injury in Prisons Study Data Codebook

This Data Codebook variables can be used for the future studies and analysis. The codebook also contains the study’s questionnaire and offender data provided by the South Carolina Department of Corrections (SCDC).

The Statewide Investigation of Traumatic Brain Injury Among Prisoners Data Codebook was developed under Cooperative Agreement #U49CE001318 from the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
