Moving 101
Your Relocation Office should be your first stop when you are considering a move or when you actually receive orders. This office is staffed by trained professionals who will help manage your move. Their goal is to connect you to the right resources at the right time so that you can execute an efficient and cost effective move within the military system.

This site highlights communities throughout the United States by providing cost-of-living reports, school report cards, community comparisons, a salary analyzer, crime reports, neighborhood information, a job network and various calculators.

Plan My Move 
This site offers information about entitlements and benefits, and provides points of contact, checklists, planning tools, and information on education and employment.

Military Installations
 
This site contains valuable information on more than 250 military installations worldwide, including directories of programs and services available on each installation.

Document Translation Service 
Eligible customers have access to document translation services for individual official personal documents (or "qualifying" documents) such as passports, marriage certificates, and adoption proceedings which are required by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Automated Housing Referral Network 
The site is sponsored by the Department of Defense and designed to improve the process of securing available housing for Airmen and their families.

Military Kids on the Move 
This is relocation site for military kids produced by military kids. There is a special section for just teens, and another one geared toward the younger folks.

Traveling with Pets
Dogs, cats, and most other warm-blooded animals transported in commerce are protected by the Animal Welfare Act (AWA). The U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) enforces this law. APHIS' shipping regulations help ensure that people who transport and handle animals covered under the AWA treat them humanely. Airlines and other shippers are affected by regulations established to protect the well-being of animals in transit.
