At the NIH, hazardous materials are used in laboratories, workshops and service areas.  DOHS maintains an emergency response policy and procedures for the management of spills or accidental release of hazardous materials, and ensures that these comply with all federal and state legislation concerning occupational health and safety, and the protection of the environment.  The Division of Occupational Health and Safety can assist you in the event of an incident or spill.  All injuries and exposures are required to be reported to Occupational Medical Service (OMS) located in Building 10, Room 6C306.  You may contact OMS at (301) 496-4411.
