Gain the Experience

Interns will take a series of courses related to the NIH Peer Review administration. Interns will work with a diverse and dedicated group of scientists and help coordinate state-of-the-art scientific review meetings. Interns will be mentored by experienced Scientific Review Officers and receive hands-on experience:

• Managing a small special emphasis panel
• Recruiting scientists to serve on peer review panels
• Editing summary statements
• Participation in the development and evaluation of new Institute initiatives
