Looking Beyond the Ticket & Roadside Interviewing (LBTRI)
Up one levelThis 8-hour program is an advanced course for officers seeking to enhance their criminal patrol mission. From identifying initial indicators of criminal activity to conducting effective roadside interviews, this course will change the way officers conduct their traffic stops. In addition to criminal indicators and roadside interviewing, other topics include: obtaining valid consent to search, officer safety and legal issues related to advanced criminal patrol. This class is modeled for those assertive officers, whose primary duties include traffic enforcement and patrol.
