FLETC Training Dismissed Friday at 2:30 pm

Due to power outages and weather conditions, Director Connie Patrick has canceled training for the remainder of the day at the Glynco Campus this Friday, Aug. 22. 

There are approximately five power poles down near building 681 that have cut off power to that building and blocked off portions of the road. This situation is being worked on by Georgia Power and the Facilities Management staff.

All nonessential personnel may leave their duty stations; however, all staff members should contact their respective supervisors regarding potential duty requirements. 

Students should return to their dorms. Buses will begin running at 2:30 pm to transport students to their respective dorms. The dining facility will be open with possibly limited options.

All staff and students are asked to leave through the Glynco front gate, except those personnel who are located in building 681 who should leave through the gate nearest the building due to the roads being blocked.

It is anticipated that all personnel will return to work on Monday, August 25.
