• OS X Mountain Lion and Windows 8 users: FAFSA on the Web is inaccessible at this time but we are working to fix the issue.
• FAFSA on the Web will be unavailable due to necessary maintenance activities on Sunday, Oct. 7 from 3 to 11 a.m. ET.
• The IRS Data Retrieval Tool will be unavailable from 9 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 6 through 5 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Oct. 9. Students can still complete and submit a FAFSA by entering the necessary tax return information manually.
• Use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to update your FAFSA with IRS tax return information.
  
  If you have already submitted a FAFSA and would like to use the Tool, click Login to start a correction. Once in the FAFSA, navigate to the "Finances" section, where the option to use the tool displays for eligible students and parents.
