OUR MISSION

The Office of Acquisition and Grants (OAG) is responsible for the SSA-wide acquisition and grants programs in support of the Agency mission and strategic goals. OAG directs the business management aspects of these activities, and develops and implements applicable policies, procedures, and directives.

This document provides instructions on how vendors can submit information to be included in the newly created SSA vendor database. This database will be used for COTR market research.

SSA Vendor Communication Plan

In accordance with the guidance contained in Office of Federal Procurement Policy’s (OFPP) memorandum entitled  Myth-Busting: Addressing Misconceptions to Improve Communication with Industry during the Acquisition Process(dated February 2, 2011) the Social Security Administration has developed and hereby published a Vendor Communication Plan. This plan discusses the steps SSA will undertake to enhance outreach to its industry partners, and reduce unnecessary barriers to competition in the procurement process.
