On most of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) bottom trawl, scallop, hydroacoustic and clam survey cruises aboard the NOAA research vessels, volunteers are welcome on a space available basis. This is a great opportunity for college graduates, fishermen, and others interested in learning more about our program to get a hands-on experience working aboard a research vessel.
