Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD) is the largest nonprofit organization in the United States focused entirely on Duchenne muscular dystrophy. PPMD takes a comprehensive approach in the fight against Duchenne—funding research, raising awareness, promoting advocacy, connecting the community, and broadening treatment options. PPMD continually shares vital and up-to-date information about Duchenne to the world through the media and quickly and effectively connects journalists to experts on Duchenne, as well as an array of disability-related subjects. Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy’s mission is to end Duchenne.
