Job Summary:
The Small Business Administration (SBA) is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO). The OCFO is responsible for conducting and promoting effective financial management activities for the Small Business Administration including budget, credit subsidy, financial operations, financial systems, and internal controls.
The Deputy Chief Financial Officer (DCFO) assists the Chief Financial Officer/Associate Administrator for Performance Management (CFO) in providing leadership and direction in the formulation and execution of the financial management program of the Agency, directs the oversight of agency financial management, budget, internal controls, compensation and benefits budget, and agency procurement. In addition, the DCFO will develop and prepare the annual Agency plan to implement the provisions and recommendations of the five-year government-wide financial management plan to be prepared by OMB. The DCFO also represents the CFO in dealings with the OMB, Members of Congress and their staffs, and other senior level officials.
