CDC Injury Fact Book

CDC's National Center for Injury Prevention and Control presents a comprehensive look at the injury problem in America and efforts underway to reduce it. The CDC Injury Fact Book offers a wealth of injury data and descriptions of CDC research and prevention programs for a full spectrum of injuries—from those related to acute injury care or alcohol use to those resulting from youth violence.

The book contains:

  • An in-depth explanation of the public health approach to injury prevention
  • A timeline of the significant achievements in preventing injury and its consequences
