Over the past year, I’ve had the exciting opportunity to introduce partnerships between the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and state and local governments in support of the “If You See Something, Say Something™” awareness campaign. Today is the fifth time that I have had the pleasure to personally announce a new partner in this important initiative.
U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano addresses key areas of the DHS mission that fall within the Committee’s jurisdiction, the Department’s priorities, and the Department’s vision for working with Congress to build on the substantial progress achieved to date.
Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer, the National Basketball Association, the National Football League and the National Hockey League are joining together for the first time to help DHS deliver an important message to their millions of fans.
