For Michele Justice, success in business is not only establishing new customers but also developing and nurturing long-term relationships with her existing clients. Michele is the President and Owner of Personnel Security Consultants, Inc. (PSC). Michele is an authority in personnel security and employment suitability. She also is a licensed Private Investigator through the state of New Mexico.

Personnel Security Consultants, Inc. is a 100 percent woman, minority-owned, certified small disadvantaged business. PSC is CCR registered and also 8(a) certified through the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The goal of PSC is to provide consulting services, training development/delivery, and investigative and adjudicative services for their clients, while always keeping in mind cultural teachings of honesty, hard work, humility and kindness. Services include: Background investigations for child care workers; law enforcement positions; public trust positions; security program development; policy and procedure development; screening/adjudication services; training in Indian child protection requirements; employee background investigations; and security awareness training.

Michele spent most of her professional career working for the Federal government, making her way from a GS-01 to overseeing multi-million dollar programs, managing personnel and sub-contractors, and implementing the establishment of a newly created federal security office.

In 2004, Michele left federal service to use her expertise to fulfill her vision of assisting Tribal communities and organizations throughout “Indian Country” in protecting communities and children. She launched PSC by developing training and awareness programs that she offered directly to Tribes and Tribal organizations by traveling throughout the United States to communities in need of security and program training. She has since expanded PSC from a one-person company to a staff of 16 employees. She actively recruits from her own community and her staff is 100 percent minority or women.

PSC has a solid business plan and follows many of the methodologies used in mainstream business. However, Michele also incorporates her own lessons learned to build success. She believes that teaching clients how to run their own security-investigation programs efficiently is just as important as providing all the services they need to run those programs.
