Far East Activities and Athletics directly benefit the quality of life and education for high school students attending DoDDS schools overseas. The goal is to create activities and athletic events that contribute to the well rounded educational experience in spite of being so far from the U.S. Students join together from the four school districts for area wide events known as Far East events. The Athletic events are tournaments and determine the Far East champion each year for Division 1 and Division 2 schools in various sports. This would be the equivalent to the State champion in stateside school districts. The Far East Activities focus more on academic enhancement and collaboration between the four school districts creating area wide events with programs that prepare students for careers and higher education in many different areas from math, science and foreign language to music, art and entertainment.
