Can you believe the lion cubs are 2 months old? The growing cubs now weigh 21 to 23 pounds each, and the playful foursome are becoming a bit of a handful! See how zookeepers and veterinarians keep track of the cubs' health and growth with this latest update.

SURPRISE! IT'S TWIN SLOTH BEAR CUBS

We were excited to announce the birth of one endangered sloth bear, but now we're doubly excited to announce that it turns out we have twins on our hands!

STATEMENT ON ELEPHANT CARE AT WOODLAND PARK ZOO

Recently, the Seattle Times published a two-part series on elephants in zoos. Woodland Park Zoo’s approach to elephant care and our attempt to help perpetuate the species by inseminating Chai, one of our Asian elephants, was highlighted.
