Sexual fact or fiction?

  1. In one study, around 60 percent of girls 12 to 17 who had sex said they wish they had waited.

  2. Most teens think about the risk of getting pregnant.

  3. Sixty-five percent of teens say it would be much easier to delay sex if other teens spoke positively about not having sex.

  4. You can't get pregnant having sex your first time. It's impossible.

  5. You can't get pregnant having sex standing upright.

  6. Each year there are around 750,000 teen pregnancies in the U.S., and most of those are unplanned.

  7. Most teens who become pregnant marry the father of their baby.

  8. You can't get pregnant if you have sex while you are menstruating.

  9. One out of 4 teenage girls has a sexually transmitted infection.

  10. You can tell by looking at someone if they have a sexually transmitted disease (STI).
