Aligning and Elevating University-Based Low-Income Nutrition Education: Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (SNAP-Ed)

This is a one-year project for a cooperative agreement with one land-grant university that has both EFNEP and SNAP-Ed to provide leadership in developing recommendations for a more coordinated, system-wide approach for low-income nutrition education through the land-grant university system, one which respects necessary differences in programs, incorporates their respective strengths, and leads to increased visibility and involvement of the land-grant university system and its funders to address health needs of vulnerable populations.
