Abstract:	This findings brief examines the impact that states’ budget cuts and increased funding by the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program had on states’ loan repayment programs from 2007 to 2010. It compares joint state-NHSC and state-only repayment programs; examines state-only and state-NHSC repayment programs with increased, decreased, and stable funding; and presents survey results from directors of selected state programs on yearly changes in size and composition of the workforce. The brief contains tables, a figure, and references.
