Measles
If you are travelling to Europe or attending events, such as for the summer Olympics in London, you may be at risk for being exposed to measles.  Talk to your doctor to make sure you are up-to-date on your MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine before you travel.

Influenza (Flu)
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone 6 months of age and older get their yearly flu vaccine as soon as vaccines become available in their community.

Whooping Cough (Pertussis)
Cases are widespread. All Californians, especially close contacts to infants and all health care workers, should be immunized against pertussis.
