Changes in Country Requirements for Yellow Fever Vaccination

Certain countries have yellow fever (YF) vaccination requirements for people who are entering their country after travel from a country with risk of YF virus transmission. The World Health Organization has recently published changes to some countries’ yellow fever vaccination requirements. Many of these changes involve new guidance that YF vaccination is also required for people who are only transiting (making a brief stop or layover) in an airport located in a country with risk of YF virus transmission as part of their route to their final destination.

We have updated the information about YF vaccination requirements for the following countries:

To view these changes, see Chapter 3, Yellow Fever & Malaria Information, by Country.
