The September 1983 edition of the Freedom of Information Case List is now available through the Superintendent of Documents, GPO, Washington, D.C. 20402. (Stock Number 027-000-01178-1.) The price is $6.50 per copy.
Edited by Pamela Maida of the Office of Information and Privacy staff, the 1983 edition of the Case List contains more than 1750 FOIA and Privacy Act access cases, with full case histories, indexed according to subject matter topics.
In addition, there are separate updated listings of cases interpreting all aspects of the Privacy Act of 1974, the Government in the Sunshine Act, and the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as well as an updated list of all "reverse" FOIA cases.
The Case List also contains an expanded and updated "Short Guide to the Freedom of Information Act," updated citations to related law review articles, and the complete texts of the four major federal access statutes. It totals 297 pages.
