Edited by Pamela Maida of the Office of Information and Privacy staff, the 1986 edition of the Case List contains more than 2500 FOIA and Privacy Act access cases, with full case histories.
In addition, there are separate updated listings of cases interpreting all aspects of the Privacy Act of 1974, the Government in the Sunshine Act, and the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as well as a list of all "reverse" FOIA cases to date.
The 462-page reference volume also contains an expanded "Justice Department Guide to the Freedom of Information Act" and citations to related law review articles.
