Call them blowdowns, laydowns or just trees in the water, they are great places to catch a bass. The way you approach a tree and cast to it can make the difference between catching and casting. And your bait selection is very important. Try my methods of fishing trees in the water and tell me if you have ways that work better for you.

We have all had it happen. Suddenly you realize the perfect lure to use and you start digging for it but can't find it. If you organize your tackle you will be able to find what you want much easier. You also won't go out and buy six more of a lure that you already have six of stuck back somewhere if you know where everything is in your tacklebox.
