Subject: Timing of grantee training

Q: Is 4-6 weeks before go-live enough time for grantees to get fully trained?

A: The training window of 4-6 weeks before go-live is an industry standard window that allows different people, in different roles, who may receive different amounts of training to maintain the knowledge gained during training sessions. Post-training support will be available.

Subject: Grantees training simultaneously

Q: Considering that grantees have different business rules, will grantees from different locations receive training together at the same time?

A: Yes, it is expected that grantees will be able to set their VTrckS vaccine ordering business rules from a pre-selected list built into VTrckS.  All grantees will need to understand the impact of each option in order to set their business rules as they see fit; therefore, it is feasible to have multiple grantee locations represented in a training session.

Q: Will Continuing Education Units (CEUs) be available for completing VTrckS training?

A: No, the VTrckS training classes will not be accredited.

A: A minimum of one Super User per grantee is expected to be required for VTrckS. They are expected to receive more training than typical grantee staff members and should be equipped and prepared to serve as the first level of support for staff questions.

Subject: Identification of super-users

Q: Who is the ideal person to be the Super User in my organization?

A: The ideal Super User is a person who is familiar with the daily business and program operations of the organization. This person should have strong communication and presentation skills and be willing to serve as the first level of support for staff with questions related to VTrckS.
