Josh Goldberg and Seth Patch, both Desk Officers from the China Desk in the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, delivered remarks on Thursday, March 15 to a student audience on the topic of “U.S.-China Relations".  At the conclusion of their remarks, Mr. Goldberg and Mr. Patch took questions from the audience on a variety of topics, including human rights, business and economic issues and China’s relationship with North Korea. More than 200 high school and college students were in attendance, representing approximately 20 different schools throughout the United States, including Kent State University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Additionally, the audience included students from every continent in the world except Antarctica. The speakers were introduced by Jennifer Olson, a Public Affairs Officer in the Bureau of Public Affairs.
