The local Councils in this registry are committed to strengthening community safety and preparedness through increased civic engagement and to developing goals and strategies tailored to specific community vulnerabilities and population.

Date Council Established: July 2003

Council Mission:

Stoddard County is attempting to better organize the Citizen Corps volunteers in the county. We are identifying county residents who are interested in volunteering in the county and those residents who have special needs during an emergency. The third but not last goal is to increase the interest in and knowledge of personal and family emergency planning by county residents.
