Mammalian Gene Collection (MGC)
The Mammalian Gene Collection (MGC) project is an effort by the NIH to generate full-length complementary DNA (cDNA) resources for human, mouse, and rat. The MGC infrastructure also supports development of repositories of full-length cDNAs for frog (Xenopus laevis and Xenopus tropicalis) and zebrafish (Danio rerio). All cDNA sequences and corresponding cDNA clones generated by MGC are accessible to the entire biomedical research community. To find out more about this resource, please visit the MGC website:
