U.S. Tobacco Control Laws Database

The American Nonsmokers' Rights Foundation offers a longitudinal database featuring a national collection of tobacco control ordinances, by-laws, and Board of Health regulations dating from the early 1980s to the present.  Included are laws and policy analyses pertaining to clean indoor air, restrictions on youth access to tobacco, tobacco advertising and promotion restrictions, tobacco excise taxes, and conditional use permits.  Additionally, the database offers data on State laws on the topic of clean air.

Information drawn from the database will be of interest to researchers, health departments, and advocates.

The database is available at:  http://www.no-smoke.org/document.php?id=313.
