Denali
Critterpages
Overview
Starting with the Denali National Park and Preserve quarter, the students will visit the Denali National Park and Preserve website to understand and identify the basic needs of organisms that must be met in order to carry out life processes. The students will classify local organisms as producers or first, second, or third-order consumers. The students will research and identify ways organisms adapt to factors in an ecosystem and will identify ways human interaction can directly alter habitats. The students will create a fictional web page to tell about the Dall sheep.
