- National Center on Health In September 2011, the Administration for Children and Families, Office of Head Start, launched the National Center on Health (NCH) through a cooperative agreement awarded to the American Academy of Pediatrics working in partnership with key national organizations. ASTDD and the OHRC are the Project leads for the NCH oral health activities. (April 2012)
ASTDD supports Oral Health America's (OHA) third annual Fall for Smiles campaign. Fall for Smiles is a grassroots communications campaign that aims to remind the American public about the importance of dental self-care, healthy food choices, regular dental visits and avoiding tobacco. Starting September 1 and running through October 31 Fall for Smiles will encourage families to think about their mouth health during the back-to-school season.
