Management Resources

Frequent relocation is one event that affects all DoD personnel and every family member in the total force. For active duty especially, it has profound short and long-term effects on nearly every aspect of life, such as financial security, career development, education, family adjustments, child development, and relationships. The purpose of the Relocation Assistance Program (RAP) is to provide information, skills, and tools to assist military members, DoD civilians, and their families to manage the stresses associated with the mobile military lifestyle and to thrive on the opportunities afforded them by this lifestyle.

To meet and exceed client expectations, Relocation service providers must be aware of the wealth of resources available to make their jobs and their clients' relocations as smooth as possible.  The following sections outline links to service branches, additional web resources for service providers, promotional materials, management tools, and training resources.
