Simulation Integration Management Branch (SIM)

The SIM Branch goals are to increase training efficiency, student throughput, and training safety by promoting the innovative enterprise-wide development and application of training technologies, especially modeling and simulation, to augment FLETC’s existing training delivery systems and methodologies.

The SIM Branch focuses on simulation applications where there will be immediate and strategic benefits. Capitalizing on the Department of Defense’s (DoD) simulation development and integration program lessons learned, the FLETC program objectives pursue the implementation of an enterprise-wide training approach by implementing technologies that will impact more than one functional training area.

The SIM branch’s successful integration of simulation technology, through the use of a systematic process, contributes to training effectiveness and leads to enhanced human performance.
