Cimarron is a telecommunications company that specializes in RPMS software development. These two individuals provide telephone and remote assistance for the diabetes case management system, medication updates, laboratory taxonomies and unidirectional laboratory interface support for RPMS.
Diabetes Case Management Demonstration Project

Ms. Giotta has worked in diabetes for 18 years and is an expert in medical nutrition therapy. Ms. Giotta provides remote and telephone assistance using the RPMS diabetes management systems and case management. Ms. Giotta makes on-site visits to SDPI grantees to expand diabetes case management activities using their RPMS registries for program planning. She will assist grantees with ADA/IHS recognition process and provide expertise on diabetes team building to improve systems of care. In 2007, Ms. Giotta's scope was expanded to provide technical assistance to include the GPRA clinical measures.

Ms. Moore is a healthcare professional experience in diabetes and RPMS Diabetes Management Systems. Ms. Moore provides remote and telephone support using the RPMS diabetes registry and makes on-site visits to SDPI grantees. Ms. Moore builds upon lessons learned from the inception of the SDPI funding for the diabetes data project and strives towards chronic disease management.

Dr. Ray Shields has a contract with the National IHS Diabetes Program. Dr. Shields is an expert in diabetes, Epi-info, and the annual diabetes audit. He reviews and cleans the diabetes data sent by the health care programs and then sends this information to the national diabetes statistician. IHS Diabetes Best Practices offers approaches from the Indian Health Service that everyone in a clinical and community settings can use to improve diabetes care including successful diabetes prevention, treatment, and education practices.
