SKYNET 4D / Delta II

The Boeing Company launched a Delta II on 9 January 1998 at 7:32 p.m. EST. The Delta II, was launched from Cape Canaveral Air Station, Florida, carrying the SKYNET 4D satellite to a geosynchronous orbit. The SKYNET 4D will provide strategic and tactical communications for the United Kingdom's Army, Navy, and Air Force.
