Use of Force Symposium

Up one level

Every day, law enforcement officers face danger while carrying out their responsibilities. When dealing with a dangerous or unpredictable situation, police officers usually have very little time to assess it and determine a reasonable response.  Good training can enable the officer to react reasonably to the threat, while adhering to the Constitutional rights of the individual.

This Symposium brings in internationally recognized trainers from across North America to present on the some of the most contemporary use of force topics.  Each of the presenters is an experienced practitioner in their field, so this symposium is not founded upon academic hypothetical assessments of use of force, but rather a symposium presented by those who have practical experience in the field.

Training Topics:  (Topics are subject to change.)

  • Legal Aspects of the Use of Force
  • Harnessing the Winning Mind and Warrior Mindset
  • Performance Under Extreme Stress
  • After the Fight: Self Applied First Aid
  • Below 100- Officer Safety/Reducing Line of Duty Deaths
