Training Innovation Integration Branch (TII)

The Training Innovation Integration (TII) branch enhances TID’s ability to manage additional projects and advance and expand the process of integrating technology into the FLETC training process. TII’s vision is to create an environment for rapid deployment of innovative methodologies and delivery systems to provide state-of-the-art training that matches the evolving operational environments FLETC graduates will encounter.

To help achieve this goal, and in addition to the staff assigned to the Glynco location, TII has a full time staff member assigned to the FLETC Orlando office to investigate Department of Defense research and emerging training technology products. Frequently, training technologies developed by DOD to train the armed forces can be modified and used to enhance training for law enforcement. The FLETC Orlando staff helps to introduce new products and ideas and, most importantly, look for solutions to training issues that managers or instructors from FLETC identify.

Mission

Advance the integration of training innovations and technologies into FLETC’s enterprise training environment. Successful integration of training innovations is a critical component in providing fast, focused and flexible training solutions for professionals whose job performance is critical to public safety and our nation’s security. This mission is executed with a continual focus on improving student performance and supporting FLETC’s efforts to increase capacity.
