National Immunization Conference (NIC)

Brings together a wide variety of local, state, federal, and private-sector immunization partners to explore science, policy, education, and planning issues related to immunization in general and vaccine-preventable disease. 

 

National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW)

National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW)

Annual observance to promote the benefits of immunizations and to focus on the importance of immunizing infants against vaccine-preventable diseases by age two.

 

National Influenza Vaccination Week (NIVW)

National Influenza Vaccination Week (NIVW)

This event highlights the importance of continuing influenza (flu) vaccination through the winter months and beyond.

 

National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM)

National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM)

While CDC does not sponsor this month, CDC does support and encourage the efforts of state and local health departments and other immunization partners to celebrate NIAM and encourage all people to protect their health by being immunized against infectious diseases.

 

Vaccine University

Vaccine University

Vaccine University is a biennial three-day training planned and organized by CDC for grantees. The training provides the opportunity for practical learning about the Vaccines for Children (VFC) and Assessment, Feedback, Incentives, and eXchange (AFIX) Programs from both peers and subject-matter experts.

Once the event is scheduled, grantees will be notified.
