• Funding Opportunity Announcement 801: Improving Health and Educational Outcomes of Young People (March 2008 – February 2013) [doc 670K]

  In 2007, CDC announced the availability of fiscal year 2008 funds for cooperative agreements between the CDC and State Education Agencies (SEA), State Health Agencies (SHA), Territorial Education Agencies (TEA), Federally Recognized American Indian/Alaska Native Tribal Governments (TG), and large urban Local Education Agencies (LEA) to improve health and educational outcomes of young people through establishing and strengthening coordinated school health programs.

• NEW — Request for Funding Announcement (CDC–RFA-DP11-1101): National Programs to Improve the Health and Educational Outcomes of Young People (May 2011– May 2016)
  In 2011, CDC announced the availability of fiscal year (FY) 2011 funds for cooperative agreements to Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) to establish and maintain policy, systems, and environmental change strategies across the country.

  In 2005, CDC announced the availability of fiscal year (FY) 2006 funds for cooperative agreements to establish a national program to prevent behaviors and unhealthy environments that place elementary school through college-aged young people at risk for a myriad of health problems.
